The European Research Council (ERC)

ELSF organised three meetings on the topic of the European Research Council (ERC). The first two meetings were hosted by UNESCO in Paris (February 2003) and in Venice (May 2003). The third one, which was organized in conjunction with Euroscience (www.euroscience.org), was hosted by the Royal Irish Academy (RIA) in Dublin (October 2003).
Other ELSF actions towards the establishment of the ERC were organized under the umbrella of the Initiative for Science in Europe – ISE (www.initiative-science-europe.org).
